Set back from the beach on Bondi Road, the Health Emporium is part organic café, part wholefoods grocer, and a good window onto the wellness-minded Bondi that lives behind the surf. The café does the things this stretch of Sydney does well — cold-pressed juices, grain bowls, gluten-free baking — while the shop alongside stocks bulk wholefoods, supplements and natural-skincare lines.
It is the kind of place that defines the Bondi backstreets as much as the beach does: health-conscious, unhurried and firmly local. A good stop on the walk up from the sand toward Bondi Junction.
