Thunderbolt's Hideout is a rocky, secluded spot linked to the bushranger Captain Thunderbolt, who used it as a place to shelter horses and watch for coaches on the goldfields road. It is reached by a short walk from the road, but the path is rough and not suitable for wheelchairs.
