Bardedjilidji Walk is a quieter sandstone and woodland walk in the East Alligator area, useful if you want something beyond the main Ubirr circuit. The route passes layered rock, pockets of shade, and country that changes character quickly between wet and dry seasons.
It is a good dry-season leg-stretcher, but heat can be severe. Start early, carry water, and check whether the East Alligator area is open before driving all the way out.
