Nanguluwurr is a smaller rock-art site near Burrungkuy, reached by a walking track that keeps away many hurried visitors. The art includes older figures and more recent contact-period images, showing that Kakadu's rock shelters were used and re-used over long spans of time.
It is a good choice if you want a quieter art stop and are willing to walk for it. Carry water, start early, and do not expect the same level of infrastructure as the main Burrungkuy circuit.
