Meanarra Hill is the simplest big-view stop in Kalbarri. A short lookout trail leads to a high point above town, where the coast, the Murchison River mouth, and the inland edge of Kalbarri National Park line up in one sweep.
It is especially good near sunset, when the low light gives shape to the scrub and the river plain. The walk is short, but the hill is exposed, so bring water and do not underestimate the heat if you go in the middle of the day.
