Red Bluff is the coastal side of Kalbarri at its most direct: red Tumblagooda sandstone dropping toward a blue Indian Ocean. The lookout is easy to reach, but the colour and scale make it feel like a proper landscape rather than just another roadside viewpoint.
Come in the late afternoon if you can. The cliffs warm up, the water darkens, and the whole headland shows why Kalbarri is not only about the inland gorges. Keep to marked paths, as the cliff edges are exposed and unforgiving.
