Nadi has a good mix of tourist shops and local markets. Jack's of Fiji on the main street is a polished handicraft store with fixed prices — useful if you do not want to haggle. For something more authentic, walk a few blocks south to the public market. The food market sells fresh produce, and a separate building nearby has wooden carvings, tapa cloth, and other handicrafts at better prices than the tourist shops.
