These church ruins above Kruje are linked with the 15th-century Skanderbeg Church and preserve traces of an earlier church, including a surviving fresco fragment. The site was uncovered during excavations in the late 20th century.
The ruins are a small stop, but they add context to Kruje's castle area and are worth a look while visiting the nearby museums and historic core.
