Most people come from Tirana, 32 km south. Furgon (shared minibus) runs hourly from the northern fringes of Tirana (Zogu i Zi) and takes about 45 minutes; expect to pay a few hundred lek. Taxi from Tirana is around €25-30 one way. Most organised half-day tours from Tirana combine Krujë with Durrës on the coast.
The closest airport is Tirana International (TIA), 20 km away. From there, you can take a taxi direct or catch the airport shuttle into Tirana and connect with a furgon from there.
