Saranda's Museum of Archaeology is a small stop, but it helps connect the modern resort town with the ancient cities and trade routes of the Ionian coast. Finds and displays point toward the wider landscape of Butrint, Phoenice, and the settlements around the bay.
Use it as context before or after visiting the region's bigger ruins. The museum will not take long, but it gives a quieter historical note to a town better known for ferries, beaches, and summer crowds.
