Persqopi is a rough-edged archaeological site in the hills near Petrela, south of Tirana. The surviving draw is the line of large Illyrian masonry, set on Mount Vila above the old routes through the Krraba hills. It is sometimes linked with ancient Brysaka, though the site is more interesting for its setting and fortifications than for tidy labels.
This is not a manicured museum stop. Expect a short rural walk from Petrela, uneven ground, and limited interpretation once you arrive. Go if you like ruins with a view and want a half-day that combines well with Petrela Castle; skip it if you need polished signage or easy public transport.
