Generali Foundation holds a contemporary art collection with a strong focus on photography, film, video, and installation work. Its archive and library add depth for visitors with a serious interest in postwar and contemporary art.
It is best treated as a specialist art stop near Vienna's central museum district rather than a general first-time highlight.
