Jubiläumswarte is a 31 m observation tower on Vienna's western edge, built on a wooded hill above the city. The first tower marked Emperor Franz Joseph I's 50th jubilee; the present steel structure opened in 1956 and was renovated in 2012.
Climb it for a wide view over the Vienna Woods, the outer districts, and the city basin. It works best as part of a walk through the hills rather than as a stand-alone trip from the centre.
