Neugebäude Palace

Neugebäude Palace is a partly restored 16th-century palace complex in Vienna's outer south, traditionally linked to the site where Sultan Süleyman camped during the first Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1529. The palace later fell into disrepair, and parts of the complex were reused or converted for storage and industrial use.

It is not a standard palace visit like Schönbrunn or Belvedere, but the surviving walls and courtyards are an interesting stop for visitors who like Vienna's less polished historic edges. Access is usually tied to events and festivals, so check before travelling out specifically.
