By Train — Dinant has a small but well-used station on the Brussels–Namur–Dinant line. Trains run roughly hourly to Namur (30 minutes) and to Brussels (1h45). The station is at the south end of the town centre, a flat 10-minute walk along the quay to the church and citadel.
By Car — Dinant lies on the N97 (Brussels) and N96 (along the Meuse). Parking in the centre is paid; there are several pay-and-display car parks along the river south of the bridge. From Brussels it is about 1h15 by car.
By Boat — In summer the Meuse hosts pleasure boats from Namur and from across the French border at Givet. Mooring is available on the quay; ask at the tourist office.
