Hindin Han

Riverside terrace restaurant serving classic Bosnian grills with a view of the Crooked Bridge.

Hindin Han occupies an Ottoman-era inn building right beside the Radobolja and looks straight across at the Kriva Ćuprija. The terrace, propped on wooden beams above the rushing water, is one of the most agreeable places in town to eat in summer.

The menu is solid Bosnian and Herzegovinian cooking: ćevapi, grilled trout from the Neretva, slow-cooked lamb, dolma, and the obligatory burek. Prices are slightly higher than off-tourist spots elsewhere in the country, but for the setting and the food it is very fair. Book ahead in the high season — the river-edge tables fill up fast.
