Mostar has a small international airport (OMO) with limited seasonal flights, mostly from Germany and Italy. Most travellers arrive overland.
The most scenic option is the train from Sarajevo — a two-hour run down the Neretva canyon, one of the best train rides in Europe. Direct buses also run from Sarajevo (about 2.5 hours), Dubrovnik (3–4 hours), Split (4 hours), and Belgrade. The bus station sits just east of the river, ten minutes' walk from the old town. Drivers from the coast use the M17 road; parking near the centre is fiddly but there are paid lots a short walk from the bridge.
