The Kujundžiluk is the old Ottoman bazaar quarter on the east bank of the Neretva, leading up from the Stari Most. The name comes from the goldsmiths and coppersmiths who once worked here, and a handful of workshops still hammer out copper trays, coffee sets, and decorative pieces — the tap-tap-tap of metalwork is part of the soundtrack.
The lane is steep, narrow, and lined with stalls selling jewellery, scarves, and souvenirs. Some of it is tourist tat, but the better shops sell genuine artisan work. Get there early in the morning if you want a quiet walk — by mid-day in summer the bazaar fills with cruise-ship groups and walking tours from Dubrovnik and Split.
