Travnik is compact and easily explored on foot. The old bazaar quarter, the fortress above it, and the spring at Plava Voda are all within walking distance of each other. Allow a full day to see everything properly; the town also makes a worthwhile half-day stop on the road between Sarajevo and Jajce.
