Bulgarian Bagpipes Museum

The Bulgarian Bagpipes Museum is a small folk-music museum in a local chitalishte, or cultural centre, near Pamporovo. Its exhibits cover the use and making of Bulgarian bagpipes, with examples donated from the country's folklore regions.

The museum is small, but it gives useful context for a sound that is central to Rhodope music. It is best treated as a short cultural stop while exploring Pamporovo, Shiroka Laka, or the wider Smolyan area.
