Čiovo is connected to Trogir by a small bridge, so you can drive or walk straight onto the island.
Split Airport is only six kilometres away. From the airport, a taxi to Čiovo takes about fifteen minutes. If you are coming from Split itself, the Jadrolinija catamaran runs to Slatine on the north coast of Čiovo -- a scenic 30-minute ride that drops you on the island without needing a car at all.
By car from Split, follow the coastal road west through Kaštela to Trogir and cross the bridge. In summer, traffic around Trogir can be slow.
