Housed in a 17th-century baroque palace on Strossmayerov trg, the City Museum covers Karlovac's origins as a Habsburg fortress town, its role in the Homeland War of the 1990s, and the natural environment of the four rivers. The collection is not large but is well presented, and the building itself — with its arcaded courtyard — is worth seeing. Closed Mondays.
