Osijek's main sight is the Tvrđa — the baroque fortress quarter — which gives you a concentrated dose of 18th-century Austrian military architecture in a compact and walkable area. Outside Tvrđa, the Drava riverfront, the city zoo, and the wetlands at Kopački Rit are the main draws. The city is small enough to cover on foot or by bicycle in a day.
