Trogir's cafe and bar scene is concentrated along the Riva, the north-facing promenade that runs along the harbour, and on Gradski Trg, the main square in front of the cathedral. Both are strong on outdoor seating. The Dalmatian rhythm is unhurried: a morning coffee can turn into two hours of watching boats and pigeons without anyone suggesting you ought to order something else.
In the evenings the Riva fills with the standard Adriatic mix of spritz, local wine, and cold beer. The bars here are generally reliable without being exceptional. For something with a bit more character, the narrow alleys of the old town have a few smaller spots that the waterfront crowd does not bother to find.
