The restaurant scene in Trogir is dominated by Dalmatian seafood, which is excellent. Grilled fish, prstaci (date mussels, now protected but still appearing on some menus), black risotto, and local Plavac Mali wine from the Dalmatian hinterland are the things to focus on. The waterfront promenade on the north side of the island has the most tables; the narrow alleyways of the old town have smaller, less touristy options.
