Aalborg Tower is one of the easiest ways to get a geographic sense of the city. From the observation level, the Limfjord, central streets, harbour areas, and surrounding flatlands line up in a way that is hard to grasp from ground level.
The tower is a short, simple visit rather than a full attraction, but it pairs well with Aalborg Zoo or a walk through the western side of town. Clear weather matters, so save it for a day when the view will justify the climb or lift ride.
