Nordkraft is Aalborg's former power station turned cultural centre. The industrial shell now holds venues and arts spaces, including concert stages, theatre, cinema, gallery space, and creative studios.
It is most rewarding when something is on, but the building is also worth passing for its reuse of heavy industrial architecture on the edge of the centre. Pair it with Musikkens Hus and the Utzon Centre for a short walk through Aalborg's newer cultural waterfront.
