Gro Spiseri sits on the rooftop of Østergro, Copenhagen's first urban rooftop farm, built on top of a 1940s warehouse in Østerbro. The restaurant serves fixed evening menus built around what the farm is producing that day, supplemented by ingredients from small Danish growers. Herbs, salads, edible flowers, and vegetables are picked a few metres away.
Seatings are limited to around 30 people and evenings fill weeks in advance — book through the website. The farm also runs daytime tours and cooking workshops that don't require a dinner reservation.
