Getting Around

The old town inside the ramparts is small enough to walk across in twenty minutes, and that is how most visitors get around. The full circuit of the ramparts is about four kilometres on foot.

Like everywhere in Denmark, cycling is excellent — flat, well-signed routes, and rental bikes available at the station and through several local outfits. Buses are operated by Sydtrafik and run frequently between the centre, the station, Madsby Park and the Old Little Belt Bridge. A day pass is cheap.
