Bicycles are the ideal way to explore the lake district. Rental is available in town, and the network of signed cycling routes around the lakes and through the forests is extensive and well-maintained. A day's cycling can take in multiple lakes, the Himmelbjerget, and substantial stretches of forest.
For reaching AQUA and the further lakeshores, a bicycle or car is more practical than walking.
