Origo occupies one of the most prominent villas on the Eastern Harbour and is consistently Hanko's most-talked-about kitchen. The menu is modern Nordic — local fish, foraged greens, Finnish lamb — and the dining room opens onto a wide terrace facing the marina, which is the best evening setting in the town in summer.
Reservations essential in season, particularly for the terrace. Closed October through April. The associated wine list runs reliably Baltic-friendly Loires and Rieslings.
