A 1950s concrete water tower on a wooded hill on the northeastern side of Lahti. The tower is a fine example of Finnish post-war engineering and its observation platform — open to the public when the weather is good — gives a panoramic view over the whole city, the ski jumps and the lakes.
There is a small free car park at the base and a path through the trees. The tower is most easily reached by bicycle or car; the walk from the centre takes about thirty minutes.
