Guided kayak and stand-up paddle outings run by Abel Palomo, a state-qualified instructor, from the nautical centre on the marina. Trips go out across the bay itself, and — better, if you want quiet — up the delta of the Leyre, the river that feeds the lagoon at its eastern end through a maze of channels and alder woods.
Outings run from about three and a half to five hours, which is long enough to get well away from the resort side of the basin. Groups are small and no experience is assumed.
A kayak is the one craft that gets into the shallow parts of the bay the pinasses can't, which at low tide is most of it.
