Philippe Grocassan spent close to twenty years as a fishing-boat skipper on this bay before chartering his pinasse out privately, and the trips reflect it — he knows where the water will be, which matters more here than almost anywhere.
Cruises run two to six hours and are built around wherever you want to go: the Banc d'Arguin, the Île aux Oiseaux, Cap Ferret, or an evening run timed for the light. Tastings and meals on board can be arranged, as can the whole boat for a group.
