Positioned near the town's theatre in the heart of the centre, the Brasserie du Théâtre is the kind of place that keeps a town fed from noon to midnight. The menu runs from salads and omelettes to duck confit and steak-frites, with a daily plat du jour that leans on whatever is good at the market that morning. The terrace fills up quickly in good weather.
It is not a destination restaurant, but it is reliably open, comfortable, and representative of the Landes kitchen without making a ceremony of it. A useful option on days when the smaller restaurants are closed or full. Expect to spend around €15–25 for a main course and a drink.
