About 15 km north-west near the village of Coulanges-la-Vineuse, this cooperative cave offers tastings of one of Burgundy's least-known appellations: Coulanges-la-Vineuse, a Pinot Noir from an area that was actually more densely planted than Chablis a century ago. The reds are light, earthy, and reasonably priced. Tasting is free; buying a case or two is the expected courtesy. Open weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
