The largest Russian Orthodox cathedral outside Russia, built in 1912 for the Russian aristocrats who wintered on the Riviera. The six onion domes and polychrome tiles are startlingly out of place against the palm trees and pastel facades of Nice. The interior is rich with icons and frescoes. It sits a short walk west of the train station in a quiet residential neighbourhood.
