One of the few restaurants in Meaux that makes the most of its riverside position, with a terrace overlooking the old mill channels where the Marne splits around its islands. The cooking is classic French brasserie: moules marinières, grilled fish, magret de canard, tarte Tatin to finish. Nothing is going to surprise anyone, but the quality is consistent and the setting is genuinely pleasant on a warm evening with the water below and the cathedral tower visible above the roofline to the north. Portions are generous. The wine list focuses on the Loire Valley, which makes sense given the watery surroundings.
