Casino Barrière de Trouville

The casino sits in a grand white Belle Époque building at the inland end of the boardwalk. It was first opened in 1912, restored after damage in the Second World War, and remains the social centrepiece of the town's summer. The architecture is more interesting from outside than within; the lit-up facade at night is one of the prettiest sights in Trouville.

The gaming rooms are open to visitors over 18 with ID. A handful of bars and restaurants occupy the lower floors. Even if you don't gamble, the building is worth a slow walk past after dinner.
