The Villa Montebello is a brick-and-stone Second Empire seaside villa on the slope above the boardwalk. It houses Trouville's small municipal museum, with a permanent collection on the town's history as a fishing village and resort, plus rotating exhibitions of paintings — many by 19th-century artists who worked here, including Eugène Boudin and members of the early Impressionist circle.
The garden has a fine view over the boardwalk and the Channel. Allow about an hour. Closed on Tuesdays and during a long winter break.
