Martin's Bräu

Brewpub on Kaiser-Joseph-Strasse with copper kettles in the dining room

Martin's Bräu is a noisy, popular brewpub right next to the Martinstor, with three copper brewing kettles in the middle of the dining room. The unfiltered house pilsner is the thing to drink — it comes in tall stem glasses straight off the line — and they brew seasonal specials too.

The food is what you would expect: pork knuckle, sausages with sauerkraut, schnitzel, salads big enough to share. Service is efficient, prices are reasonable, and the long shared tables fill up early in the evening. Good with a group.
