St. Lambertus Basilika

St. Lambertus Basilika is one of Düsseldorf's key Altstadt landmarks, a brick Gothic church with a famously twisted tower. The church is associated with St. Apollinaris, the city's patron saint, and its tower has become part of local folklore.

The basilica is worth seeing while walking through the old town and riverside streets. The exterior is the main draw for many visitors, but the interior also gives a quieter break from the busy beer halls and shopping lanes nearby.
