Day Trips

Corinth sits at the gateway to the Peloponnese, making it an excellent base for day trips into one of Greece's richest archaeological regions. Mycenae, the Bronze Age citadel of Agamemnon, is about 45 minutes by bus or car to the south. Epidaurus, with its astonishingly well-preserved ancient theatre still used for summer performances, is roughly an hour away. The broader Argolis region rolls through orange groves and olive trees between these sites, and rewards anyone willing to slow down.
