Stoupa Beach is the main beach of the village, a wide curve of fine sand and small pebbles wrapped around a sheltered bay. The water is calm, clear, and shallow for some distance — good for children and weak swimmers. Sun loungers, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards can be hired along the back of the beach in season.
The southern end of the beach has the best snorkelling: cold freshwater springs rise through the sand at that corner, and the underwater rocks shelter octopus, eels, and reliable sightings of fish. A line of cafes and tavernas faces the water; from a beach table you can be in the sea in fifteen seconds.
