Stoupa has a small number of shops serving its summer trade: a couple of supermarkets, a bakery, gift shops with the usual souvenirs, a small art gallery, and a boutique with Greek-made clothing and accessories. The Anatoli shop is good for handmade gifts and jewellery; Mesogio sells local art and pottery. Most shops are open summer only. For more serious shopping, Kalamata (45km north) has a proper market and high street.
