Kalogria Beach

Kalogria Beach is the quieter of the two main beaches, a ten-minute walk north over the headland from Stoupa Beach. It is smaller, more pebbly, and noticeably cooler because of the underwater springs that bubble up directly off the shore.

The line of tamarisk trees along the back of the beach gives natural shade — a welcome thing in August. There is a small supermarket and a couple of tavernas a few steps from the sand. Less crowded than Stoupa Beach and a better choice for serious swimmers.
