Fish on Paxi is good — landed locally, simply cooked — but pricier than the mainland. Tavernas push the standard Greek menu, often with one or two more interesting dishes if you ask. The waterfront in Gaios is the most expensive; Loggos and Lakka work out cheaper for a similar meal.
