Basilica C is one of Philippi's early Christian ruins, a three-aisled church whose surviving marble floor inlays hint at the wealth of the 6th-century city. It is less complete than the site's headline monuments, but still helps fill in the scale of Byzantine Philippi.
It is best seen as part of a slow circuit through the archaeological site rather than as a stand-alone stop.
