A small Byzantine chapel at the northern edge of Lindos village, dedicated to Saint George Pachymachiotis, a local saint whose origins are obscure but whose presence in the village's devotional life has been continuous since the Byzantine period. The chapel is modest in scale — a single-nave structure with a barrel vault — but is notable for its intact Byzantine masonry and the fragments of early fresco visible in the apse.
The chapel is usually locked except on feast days (23 April and other Georgios feast days), when the village maintains it in traditional style. Even from outside, the structure is worth noting — it is one of the few visible remnants of Lindos's Byzantine layering that is not overshadowed by either the Acropolis or the later Ottoman-era buildings.
