Lindos has one great sight and the village itself is the supporting experience. The Acropolis draws most visitors; St Paul's Bay is where they go afterwards. The lanes between the two repay slow exploration — the captain's houses with their pebble courtyards are among the finest vernacular architecture in the Aegean.
